Is Poisoning Bats A Good Idea?

There is no denying that bats quickly become a problem when they invade your property. They leave feces, increase the risk of disease and illness, and could potentially bite or attack you or your property.

Getting rid of the bats is where the problems start. You want to remove them without putting yourself at risk and in a way that will work. Finding the perfect solution is not going to come easily to everyone.

One option many consider is poison. Poison promises to remove pest problems quickly, safely, and efficiently, but is it truly the best option? If you have a problem with bats, should you use poison to remove them?

Using Poison on Bats

Before going into any of the risks and dangers associated with poison itself, know that it is illegal to kill bats. If you choose to use poison on your bat problem, you may face serious legal penalties as a result.

Understand that the law is not on your side here. Even if you want to remove the bats, it may not be worth the massive legal risk you take with this action.

Bats are a problem, yes, but poison is not the solution. There are far better options out there that you should employ first.
